This beautiful little bookstore started out as a dark and dingy basement full of awkwardly placed walls and low ceilings. Due to its below-ground location, we wanted the entryway to draw people's eye. We achieved that with a bold pattern and treated the area as a window display. In the main space, to off-set the lack of natural light, we filled it with colorful decor, dusty blue walls, and a peach colored ceiling. The result is welcoming, joyful and cozy.
